Supporting Digital Transformation in the Peruvian Amazon

The United States Government, via the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Peru, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) titled "Supporting Digital Transformation in the Peruvian Amazon." The goal of this activity is to foster economic growth in rural Amazon regions of Peru, where many individuals have moved away from illicit activities and are now seeking avenues for legitimate economic development.

The RFI was issued on April 5, 2024, with a submission deadline of April 29, 2024, at 5:00 pm Lima local time. It is open for participation from all organizational categories. The main objectives of the RFI are to acquire feedback on the draft activity description contained in Section III, gather ideas, strategies, and approaches on how to support digital transformation in Amazonian territories where alternative development activities have been implemented, and collect capability statements from interested entities.

In the event of discrepancies, the English version of the RFI is regarded as the authoritative text, though a courtesy Spanish version can be found in Annex I. USAID may decide to limit this opportunity to local entities as stipulated in ADS 303.6 and may also restrict competition exclusively to entities that provide solid capability statements in response to the RFI.
