Overview

The Centers for Research in Emerging Infectious Diseases (CREID) Network Coordination Center is announcing a funding opportunity. They are inviting applications to their network, which aims to expand knowledge on re-emerging and emerging infectious diseases around the world, particularly in areas most prone to outbreaks.

The coordination center doesn't just focus on research during outbreaks, but also handles tasks in non-outbreak periods. It plays an important role in advancing and facilitating scientific research, managing data and resources, overseeing communications and administration, and leading efforts among the CREID Networks centers.

This cooperation is done in a collaborative manner, involving both the network’s centers and stakeholders. The overarching goal of the center is building expertise, capacity, and readiness to undertake outbreak-related research. Please note, this opportunity does not involve clinical trials.
