Overview

The Office of Research Integrity has announced the projected availability of funding for fiscal year 2024, as part of Section 301, Title III of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. § 241). This announcement seeks grant applications for projects that plan and execute conferences focused on research integrity and adherence to 42 C.F.R. Part 93. Both physical and virtual formats, or a combination of both, are valid fora for these conferences.

These conferences are required to facilitate discussion and generate measurable outcomes that align with one or more of the following themes: creating an atmosphere that encourages research integrity and responsible research conduct, preventing research malfeasance, managing allegations of research misconduct adeptly, or any other topics connected with research integrity and adherence to 42 C.F.R. Part 93.

It is expected that up to four grants, each lasting one year and amounting between $25,000 and $50,000 total (incorporating direct and indirect costs), will be awarded. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) Grants and Acquisitions Management Division (GAM) will provide administrative support for this grant contest. GAM urges all applicants to fully review all program necessities, eligibility guidelines, application structure and submission details, evaluation criteria and other data included in this notice to ensure full compliance with all requirements and instructions.
