Overview

The P24AS00251 grant, also known as the 2024 Route 66 Corridor Preservation Program, was created to preserve and protect the iconic Route 66. This route is a significant part of America's heritage, therefore, in 1999, Congress passed an act to establish this program. The National Park Service oversees the program and it is committed to not only preserving the physical aspects of this historic highway but also the special stories and experiences that it embodies.
