Overview

The Minority Serving Institutions Partnership Program (MSIPP) is announcing a funding opportunity. Both new and renewal grant applications are being welcomed from consortia partnerships that include Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). The grant focus is to build and support the workforce capacity of the National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE).

This program strives for four main objectives: 1) expanding scientific and technical knowledge in fields like Advanced Manufacturing, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Nuclear Security; 2) providing students with experiential learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines; 3) building and strengthening research and education capacities of the participating institutions; 4) fostering collaborations between Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) and the Department of Energy (DOE) NNSA NSE.

Two due dates for application submission have been set: March 15th and June 15th. Applicants must ensure their applications are submitted by these dates, no later than 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time. Earlier submission is encouraged to avoid any last minute hitches. For assistance, reach out to the Grants.gov Helpdesk.

This funding opportunity will be open until a determined date within the next three years. Applications may be submitted any time before the due dates.
