Overview

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is encouraging applications for the renewal of its Technology Development Coordinating Center (TDCC). This program, which does not involve clinical trials, focuses on bolstering the work done by NHGRI's Genome Technology Program by providing a framework and resources.

The TDCC's function involves proactive support in promoting and progressing genome technology efforts. One of its main responsibilities is to create opportunities for fresh research partnerships aimed at refining and spreading technology development initiatives.

In addition, the TDCC is tasked with crafting outreach strategies and producing resources to involve the wider biomedical research community in its activities. Another key facet of the Center's work is to offer an Opportunity Funds Program. This initiative is designed to provide financial support for innovative smaller-scale projects in the field of genome technology.
