Overview
The research proposals submitted must align with the scientific mission areas of NIDCD. The application does not require any preliminary data; however, it necessitates a letter of affirmation from the applicant's institution, verifying the investigator's eligibility. This letter is a mandatory part of the application, and it is mandatory for all applicants to include it with their submissions. Failure to submit the said letter will result in the administrative withdrawal of the application. Applicants classified under categories A-C are particularly encouraged to apply for this program, working in cooperation with their respective institutions.
