Overview
The grant is specially interested in supporting approaches that can synthesize data produced from large-scale measurements of cell activity dynamics in rodents while they are active. These must be combined with other fine-scale data collected from the same cells but at a microscopic level. Some examples of this type of data include: transcriptomic class, genetic state, connectivity, and spatial localization.
The primary objective is to provide reference multimodal datasets that can result in new descriptive and predictive models. These models will show how cells encoding addiction-associated neurobehavioral states in rodent groups. Overall, it seeks to further the understanding and treatment of addiction by comprehensively mapping the effects of addictive substances at the cellular level.
