Overview
To qualify for this grant, the proposed technologies, tools, or resources must have broad potential applications. They should either address research related to multiple National Institutes of Health (NIH) Institutes and Centers, explore numerous organ systems, or be relevant to diseases and processes that affect multiple organ systems. This qualification is vital to align with ORIP's NIH-wide mission and programs.
The proposed technologies, tools, or resources should also improve the reliability, repeatability, and applicability of animal research protocols. Applicants must clearly demonstrate how their proposed resources and technological solutions will enhance the scientific rigor and reliability of animal research. However, this funding opportunity is not suitable for applications that only plan to develop a limited quantity of resources.
