Overview

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is offering the opportunity to revise existing single project research grants and cooperative agreements. This includes the option for clinical trials. The NIH is alerting all award recipients that there may be funds available through revision applications. These funds would support the expansion of ongoing projects or programs within the awarding Institute or Center (IC). The NIH will consider all applications for revisions based on their scientific and technical merit. The evaluation will be done by a suitable Scientific Review Group. These applications will adhere to the NIH peer review policy and procedures and will be judged based upon certain review criteria. However, please note that only applications responding to a Notice of Special Interest (NOSI), published by an NIH Institute or Center, can apply to this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
