Overview

The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to request applications for a Coordinating Center (CC) that will manage the Multi-Sectoral Preventive Interventions (MSPI) Research Network. This health network aims to implement preventive interventions that address social factors impacting health in populations dealing with health disparities.

The MSPI Research Network will comprise of the CC, funded through this Cooperative Agreement, and up to 10 Research Projects funded via the companion UG3/UH3 Phased Cooperative Agreement NOFO. The mentioned research projects and the CC will work in close collaboration with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in a bid to test the effectiveness of various multi-sectoral preventive interventions.

The CC will offer core support and direction to the network in three principal domains. First, it will deal with administration, coordination, and communication issues across the network. Second, it will provide support and consultation regarding methodology, data, and analytics. Lastly, it will engage with communities and other collaborators and offer them necessary dissemination support.

Applicants for the Coordinating Center should acquaint themselves with the companion NOFO to gain a comprehensive understanding of the research network's mission and structure.
