Overview
Furthermore, the INCLUDE Project encourages not only the creation and refinement of animal models but also the improvement of access to information from these models for further DS research. The focus areas of the projects could range from basic sciences to targeted studies that are crucial to understanding Down Syndrome.
While the INCLUDE project encourages all research related to this field, projects that concentrate on the development of various animal models or genetic resources are particularly desired. In addition, those incorporating cell or subcellular level atlases, advanced informatics technologies (like AI or ML), and multi-model integrations that enhance the precision and repeatability of preclinical DS studies are highly encouraged. The primary intention is to spur research advancements that can make significant strides in Down Syndrome-related studies.
