Overview

The Analysis Program provides funding for research in the field of analysis. This covers a wide array of subjects including complex, harmonic, and real analysis, dynamical systems and ergodic theory, functional analysis, mathematical physics, operator theory and operator algebras, as well as partial differential equations and calculus of variations.

The program also accepts proposals for conferences or workshops related to these topics. However, these proposals must be made through the "Conferences and Workshops in the Mathematical Sciences" program solicitation.

Prior to submitting, Principal Investigators should thoroughly read the solicitation to understand the specifics about the content of the proposals for conferences, workshops and other similar activities.

For efficient and timely processing of applications and notification about funds' availability, it is advised that proposals for conferences, workshops and similar events are submitted at least 8 months prior to the proposed start date of the event.
