Overview
The Advancing Research Careers (ARC) Institutionally-Focused Research Education Award to Promote Diversity (UE5 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed), has a primary goal of providing ARC F99 fellows/K00 scholars professional skills plus adequate mentoring and networking opportunities. This is intended to help them transition into and succeed in postdoctoral research and career development opportunities. It positions these researchers to advance in high-impact careers in the biomedical research workforce, including roles in academic research and teaching, industry or government research that typically require postdoctoral training. To achieve this goal, this educational opportunity will focus on supporting activities based on evidence, primarily involving skill development courses and mentoring activities. The Award hopes to build an inclusive and diverse biomedical research workforce.
