Overview
The National Institute on Aging (NIA) is offering a grant called the Research and Entrepreneurial Development Immersion (REDI): Entrepreneurship Enhancement Award. This program does not allow independent clinical trials. The REDI award is meant to foster development of practical, entrepreneurial training programs for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early career scientists with Master's, Ph.D., or Dr.PH degrees. These programs are geared towards those studying fields relevant to the work of the NIA, specifically aging and Alzheimer's disease research. The primary objective of the program is to equip these scientists with a broader skill set, preparing them for a variety of professional paths, even those outside traditional research environments.
