Overview

The IDeA Clinical and Translational Research Development (CTR-D) Grant, including optional clinical trial support, aims to bolster clinical and translational research capabilities in areas eligible under the IDeA program. It strives to improve the competitive edge of researchers in securing further external funding for their projects.

To accomplish these goals, the grant offers collaborative agreement support to create and enhance statewide and regional networks. This support concentrates on three primary objectives. Firstly, it seeks to support infrastructure and human resource development or enhancement to meet the needs of clinical and translational research in eligible areas. Secondly, it aims to bolster research efforts aimed at addressing a wide range of health challenges that these regions face. Finally, it's designed to promote and organize collaborations within the IDeA-CTR network and beyond, encouraging cooperative effort in clinical and translational research.
