Overview
The following is a description of a grant known as the "Device Based Treatments for Substance Use Disorders". This grant is intended to speed up the creation of devices that can treat Substance Use Disorders (SUDs), with or without the need for a clinical trial. With continuous advancements in technology, there is a unique opportunity to develop neuromodulatory or neurophysiological devices that can safely and effectively treat SUDs. The main goal of this grant is to push these devices to the next level of FDA approval, with the ultimate aim of creating new, FDA-accepted device-based treatments for Substance Use Disorders. This grant is made possible through a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA).
