Overview

The "Research to Action: Assessing and Addressing Community Exposures to Environmental Contaminants" grant is an open funding opportunity. It's aimed at encouraging researchers to apply for funding to use community-engaged research methods. The purpose of these researches is to explore the potential health risks caused by environmental exposures that are important to the community.

This grant also calls for the implementation of an environmental public health action plan derived from these research findings. The driving objective is both to inform the community and to support efforts aiming at preventing or reducing exposure to damaging environmental contaminants. Through these efforts, the ultimate goal is to improve the health of the community. Clinical trials are optional but not mandatory under this grant.
