Overview

The Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) is a grant opportunity offered by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The program aims to advance scientific progression across the nation by setting up partnerships with government, higher academia and industry. The overall objective of these collaborations is to bring about lasting enhancements in several areas, such as a jurisdiction's research infrastructure and Research & Development (R&D) capacity, thereby boosting its R&D competitiveness.

The program offers Workshop Opportunities wherein institutions from EPSCoR-eligible jurisdictions are encouraged to submit their proposals. The focus of these workshops will be on exploring innovative strategies to handle multi-jurisdictional matters on topics of regional to national significance that align with EPSCoR's objectives and serve NSF's purpose. The eligibility criteria for participation can be checked via the Outreach Eligibility Map provided.
