Overview
Researchers are also encouraged to use experimental therapeutics in order to identify potential preventive measures and intervention strategies for late-life suicide. Additionally, the initiative hopes to stimulate research efforts that focus on developing new or enhancing existing service delivery models that can improve social connectivity amongst the elderly population as a way of preventing suicide.
