Plant Genome Research Program

The Plant Genome Research Program (PGRP) offers a grant that supports large-scale genomic studies on plant biology. This program aims to address significant biological, societal, and economic matters that are challenging yet essential. PGRP promotes the creation of novel tools, technologies, and resources that provide a wide spectrum of the plant research community with the ability to answer scientific questions on a genomic scale.

Applicants can apply through two funding tracks. The first one, Research-PGR Track, supports genomics-scale plant research. The second track, TRTech-PGR Track, centers on developing tools, resources, and technological innovations that further assist in functional plant genomics.
