Overview
The key objective of this funding opportunity is to advance the program from simply mapping genetic data to unwrapping the associated mechanisms (M2). This is intended to fill existing knowledge gaps that the current TOPMed datasets have not adequately addressed.
It’s important to note that there will be no monetary support provided under this funding opportunity. However, the data generated, encompassing the omics and other related phenotypic data, will be added to a public, NIH-designated controlled-access database. This could potentially be either the database for Genotypes and Phenotypes (dbGaP) or the NHLBI's BioData Catalyst (BDC).
