Overview

The NIMHD Exploratory/Developmental Research Grant Program, also known as R21, is now inviting applications. This program is aimed towards supporting exploratory or developmental research projects that are short-term. The aim is for these research projects to introduce innovative concepts in minority health and/or health disparities. This can be executed by either breaking new ground in these fields or building upon prior discoveries to explore new applications or directions. The ultimate goal of this program is to contribute to improving minority health and minimizing health disparities in the United States. The option for clinical trials is also available.
