Overview
Institutions applying for this Planning Grant must propose a comprehensive plan outlining the development of a research training program. This plan should also include a subsequent application that will be submitted in response to the accompanying D43 FOA (PAR-19-283).
The proposed research training program, which is to be planned, should focus on strengthening the research capacity in an area of high priority concerning HIV science (NOT-OD-15-137) within the applying low-to-middle-income institutions. Notably, it is important to remember that this is a planning grant and does not involve any clinical trials.
