Overview
This can widen their research opportunities and collaborations. The grant is geared towards two categories of researchers: those who are already established in DOC research and are looking to train with investigators from different fields to enrich their research programs, and those investigators from other fields who want to introduce DOC research into their existing programs by training with established DOC researchers.
It's important to note that this funding is specifically for research that doesn't involve heading an independent clinical trial, a clinical trial feasibility study, or an ancillary clinical trial. However, candidates are eligible to propose a research experience in a clinical trial as long as it is led by a mentor or co-mentor.
