Overview

The International Bioethics Research Training Program is a grant opportunity that provides support for collaborative educational programs between institutions from Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC) and the United States. The program specifically encourages bioethics doctoral and postdoctoral training. The design of the program integrates various learning methods such as mentor-guided research and structured training components, which are intended to equip numerous individuals with specialized knowledge in ethics. Upon completion, these individuals will be ready to take on key roles of leadership and scholarship in health research institutions within their respective LMIC. This grant does have the flexibility for proposals to include a clinical trial, but it is not a mandatory requirement.
