Overview

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is offering a program called 'Short Courses for Genomics-Related Research Education,' also known as the R25 Clinical Trial. This program, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Education Program (R25), is designed to support educational activities that will enhance the training of a workforce to fulfill the nation's biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs.

The primary aim of the NHGRI R25 program is to support inventive educational activities focusing on courses for skills development. Short courses proposed under this initiative are anticipated to promote the training of investigators with the necessary research skills that further the mission of NHGRI.

Interested parties are encouraged to submit applications for innovative, advanced-level courses. These courses should aim to share new knowledge, analyses, methods, and techniques related to various aspects of genomics research, including scientific, medical, ethical, social, and legal areas. The overall objective is to facilitate the development of a team of researchers that will carry NHGRI's mission forward.
