Overview
Primarily aiming to enhance the understanding of biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research and its implications, the R25 program focuses on providing educational activities that are beneficial for both learners and educators. Its activities are specially designed to offer research experiences for high school or undergraduate students, or science teachers, and occur during the summer academic break.
While developing your proposal for the program, keep in mind that it must align with the mission of the NIH institute or center to which your application is being submitted. The proposed plan should concentrate on specified research educations activities and should not generally cover all areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). More details about submitting applications to particular institutes or centers can be found in the section labeled "IC-Specific Information and Points of Contact".
