Overview

TRAILS is a dissemination and implementation program that increases access to evidence-based mental health services among school-aged youth. The goal for this program is to continue to grow, implement, and evaluate the TRAILS 3-Tiered model of behavioral health programming in schools across Michigan, with a focus on our target population of Title I schools in high Medicaid enrollment communities. The schools selected for inclusion in this Medicaid Match FY25 project will include at least 25 ISDs (approximately 200 schools) implementing TRAILS programming.
