Overview
This initiative will address critical issues through a multifaceted approach focusing on two key areas: improving access for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Survivors and increasing reach to those impacted by human trafficking in the state of Michigan. The purpose is to develop and strengthen the VOICES4 statewide hotline infrastructure by improving and implementing secure, user-centered technological solutions for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH) survivors, enhancing our digital platforms accessibility, ensuring staff are equipped to provide trauma informed support across chat, Short Message Service (SMS), and phone modalities, and targeted support for agency funding priority area (e): survivors of human trafficking.
