Overview

The grant program will provide funding to eligible organizations to enhance their capacity to deliver prevention services to families referred through the screen-out process. These services may include support for staffing providing case management, in person service navigation support, flex funding assistance to meet immediate stabilizing needs, support for administration oversite, technology support, printed materials, and other wraparound supports tailored to the unique needs of each family. Funding will enable participating organizations to expand their capacity to engage families referred through the screen-out process, provide evidence-informed interventions, and build sustainable partnerships. The grant will also support data collection, service coordination, and continuous quality improvement efforts to ensure alignment with MDHHS prevention goals and to contribute to statewide efforts to reduce child welfare disparities and improve family outcomes.
