Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant

The Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant supports non-profit organizations in implementing projects that communicate the comprehensive benefits of higher education and test new methods of reaching potential students and their families. The goal is to support activities that expand individual, family, and community understanding of the benefits of attending college or pursuing a valuable postsecondary credential.

Only non-profit organizations that are not institutions of higher education are eligible to apply. Eligible projects must address the core purpose of reframing higher education value and operate over a 12 to 18-month timeline with a tentative start date of July 1, 2026.

Applicants must use the official Advance Michigan: Reframing the Value of Higher Education Grant Application document. The narrative portion, including the cover page through proposal description responses, must not exceed 20 pages. Completed applications must be submitted via email to MiLEAP-OHE-GrantsApply@michigan.gov by Friday, May 8, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
