Overview
Eligible applicants include any agriculture or related entity (farm, crop processing, food processing, etc.) with less than 500 employees worldwide and physically located in Michigan. Non-profits operating as eligible entities may apply, but municipalities and cannabis facilities are ineligible.
Eligible projects must address program objectives such as improving energy efficiency, increasing onsite renewable generation, or improving resiliency through energy use reduction. Examples include high-efficiency HVAC, solar panels, efficient lighting, and electric irrigation motors.
Applicants must submit an online application, an approved budget form, and additional attachments such as a detailed timeline and organizational charts. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until all funds are allocated.
