Overview
This funding will allow Mary Free Bed to complete their renovation of the 6th Floor (West Patient Tower) at the main campus on Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids. The 6th floor has housed twenty beds since 2023, and the current project is looking to expand the number of beds by an additional twenty-eight. This is in direct response to recent growth of need. The additional funding is for the completion of the Joan Secchia Children's Rehabilitation Hospital, which will be Michigan's first children's rehabilitation hospital. The goal of this project is to continue to meet the growing need for increased healthcare in West Michigan, including pediatric care.
