Overview

The goal of this program is to provide grants to support the accelerated deployment of publicly available Level 2 AC and/or DCFC EV charging stations to address infrastructure gaps and meet the needs of Michigan residents. Eligible applicants must provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number from SAM.gov and be registered as a vendor of the State of Michigan on the SIGMA Vendor Self Services (VSS). Eligible projects must be physically located in Michigan and involve the deployment of publicly available Level 2 AC and/or DCFC charging stations. Impacted facilities must have long-range plans for continued use. Ineligible projects include fossil fuel-based stations, projects at multifamily housing properties, and projects not conducted in Michigan. To apply, applicants must submit a complete response to the RFP using the Online Application, including the Approved Budget Form and additional attachments such as a Detailed Timeline, Organizational Chart, Financial Documentation, Expenditure Quotes, Site Plan, Site Host Agreement, Technical Specifications, Operational Model, Will Serve Letter, Utility Rebate Documentation, Operations and Maintenance Plan, and Site Proposal Summary. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
