Nutrition & Healthy Lifestyles Program

As of 2026, the Michigan Health Endowment Fund will no longer be awarding grants through the Nutrition & Healthy Lifestyles Initiative. Instead, commitments to food access, food systems, and physical activity are being incorporated as cross-cutting focus areas within the Healthy Aging and Healthy Kids initiatives. Through these initiatives, the Fund will continue to seek out and support projects that address high-priority needs for older adults and children, inform policy, empower communities, and reduce disparities related to food access, food systems, and physical activity. Details on the Healthy Aging and Healthy Kids grantmaking priorities will be shared ahead of the launch of RFPs in spring 2026.
