Overview

The Realizing Opportunity with Broadband Infrastructure Networks (ROBIN) Grant Program is a high-speed internet last mile and middle mile infrastructure competitive grant program administered by the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office (MIHI). With $238 million in project funds from the US Treasury as part of the Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund, ROBIN provides funds to internet service providers and public-private partnerships for the expansion of broadband infrastructure to unserved areas. The goal is to make measurable progress in closing the digital divide and enhancing quality of life across Michigan. Eligible projects include those that build a minimum of 100/100 Mbps service to homes, businesses, and institutions.
