Overview

This funding supports institutions as they implement, strengthen, or scale promising reforms in policy and practice that lead to decreased time to credential, increased student persistence, improved completion rates for all learners, and elimination of equity gaps. Nonprofit Organizations must partner with a College/University to be eligible. Projects fall into three subcategories: Amplify (strengthen or scale an already successfully implemented intervention), Accelerate (implement, improve, or expand promising practices and evidence-based reforms), and Go Big (scale evidence-based improvements aligned to a coherent institution student success strategy). Successful proposals for Accelerate and Go Big will likely include areas of focus such as critical course success, scaled reform of remediation, advising redesign, active academic support, strategic scheduling, high impact practices in teaching & learning, guided pathways reforms, IR/IT improvements, program redesign, transfer student success, and student mental health. College Success grants require the submission of an evaluation plan. A prereview opportunity is available for applicants who would like to receive feedback on a preliminary version of their proposal. Applications must be submitted through the EGrAMS Portal.
