Projects must benefit local and regional producers and address middle-of-the-supply-chain activities.
The program offers two types of grants: Infrastructure Grants and Equipment Only Grants. Infrastructure Grants support construction, facility upgrades, and modernization of equipment and systems. Equipment Only Grants fund the purchase of special purpose equipment. Applications must be submitted electronically through the MiAgGrants system by the deadline.
