Michigan Craft Beverage Council - Research Grants

The Michigan Craft Beverage Council (MCBC) is a 10-member, governor-appointed board that is advisory to the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. The Council represents a unified craft beverage industry and coordinates research, promotion, and agricultural business development efforts. The council offers a research grant and an education grant to advance a well-connected craft beverage industry through research, promotion, and agricultural business development, reinforcing Michigan as a world-class craft beverage destination. Eligible applicants include universities, colleges, community colleges, non-profit organizations, trade organizations, and for-profit organizations. Proposals must be submitted by the deadline, after which a Joint Evaluation Committee meets to review and announce awards.
