Overview

The Food Hubs and Farm Stops Grant Program, part of MDARD's Farm to Family initiative, offers funding to strengthen local food supply chains. The program targets food hubs and farm stops to help them expand service delivery, acquire equipment, improve market access, and increase distribution or processing capacity.

Eligible projects must demonstrate how they will increase the weight or volume of food throughput, increase the dollar value flowing to agricultural producers, and expand the number of farmers or consumers reached. Projects may include equipment purchases, infrastructure improvements, and logistics enhancements.

Applicants must submit their applications online via the MiAgGrants system. Prior to submission, applicants must be registered as a vendor in the State of Michigan's SIGMA Vendor Self Service system.
