Overview
The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), along with the Horse Racing Advisory Commission, offers the Equine Grant Program to eligible organizations within the equine industry. The goal of this program is to provide funding for the promotion and marketing of horse racing, equine-related research, equine-related support and aftercare, and other equine-related or horse racing programs. Eligible applicants include horse owner and breeder organizations, as well as organizations that host and/or promote harness racing. Applications must be submitted via email by 5:00 PM EST on the due date.
