Overview

The goal of the Transportation Economic Development Fund (TEDF) Category F is to provide system continuity with the secondary all-season road system. The program provides funding for transportation projects that improve access to the state all-season system, improve safety and all-season capabilities on routes having high commercial traffic, and are coordinated with the secondary all-season system (TEDF Category D) or provide all-season routes within an urban area. Eligible projects include Resurfacing 3R and Reconstruction 4R. Funds are available to state, county, and city road agencies, specifically targeting cities in rural counties. Applicants must apply online through the MDOT Grant System (MGS).
