Transportation Economic Development Fund (TEDF) - Category F - Cities in Rural Counties

The Transportation Economic Development Fund (TEDF) Category F program is designed to provide system continuity with the secondary all-season road system across Michigan. The purpose of the program is to provide grant funding for transportation projects that improve access to the state all-season system, enhance safety and all-season capabilities on routes carrying high commercial traffic, and coordinate with the secondary all-season system (TEDF Category D) or establish all-season routes within urban areas. Eligible projects include road resurfacing (3R) and road reconstruction (4R) consistent with the MDOT Guide to Geometrics. Applications must be completed and submitted online through the MDOT Grant System (MGS) during designated application cycles.
